Hearing Representative

Description

The Hearing Representative will work remotely, under an attorney, handling a high-volume caseload at every stage of litigation. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Drafting and filing various legal documents
  • Representing our clients at hearings before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board
  • Securing optimal workers’ compensation and third-party recoveries through court and office negotiations
  • Engaging with our team during group discussions and questions from peers.

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of workers’ compensation experience preferred, though noteworthy applicants with civil litigation experience may be considered
  • Working knowledge of workers’ compensation law, including trial experience
  • Ability to calculate inpatient and outpatient Official Medical Fee Schedule (preferred)
  • Ability to navigate Alternative Dispute Resolution (preferred)
  • Strong organization and casCase Managemente management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and overlapping deadlines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, including negotiation skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and ERISA preferred

In addition to the core responsibilities of this position, all employees are responsible for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of 4600Boehm’s systems and information (both physical and electronic) by adhering to the security policies outlined in the most recent versions of the Company Handbook, the Information Security Guide and Security Awareness training documents.

Salary Range

  • $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
